It was a wonderful second edition of Rough Cut Boutique and all participants have moved forward in the finalization of their promising documentary projects. The working sessions were intensive and very productive. Probably the words of tutor Pola Rapaport depict the atmosphere in a most precise manner:

We all felt that the feedback from this unusual grouping was sharp and helpful to the filmmakers and their editors.
As a tutor at the workshop, I had the unique opportunity to work directly with each filmmaker on their project, outside the group. This gave us an intimacy we all felt, and it led to a wonderful bonding experience. The one-to-one work made an important impact on the films. In some cases, in a very short amount of time, we were able to solve significant editing problems and come up with ideas for sharpening and clarifying the projects.
A warm thank you to all participants, tutors, partners and the whole team which stands behind this so important initiative!

Congratulations to all awardees!
