BETA EUROPEANS is a video podcast with short documentaries dedicated to people who live in Europe and whose actions affirm European values, but their native countries are not part of the European Union.

Balkan Watchers 2024

The podcast will be based on interviews with immigrants and Europeans on issues related to European values – freedom, rule of law, tolerance, human dignity. But also on topics related to the current context – wars, borders, identity, dictatorship and democracy. In addition to the interviews, documentary and archival footage of the users’ lives and activities will be shown – exhibitions, public appearances, concerts, performances, etc. The issues to be discussed are related also to their own and personal integration into the EU and the integration of their home countries (Ukraine, North Macedonia, Georgia, Belarus etc.) into the EU. The podcast will feature classic close-up video interviews and various documentary footage, as well as archival footage from the participants themselves. The main target group of the podcast will be people who publicly express sympathy with the dictatorial and murderous regime of the Russian Federation.
