“Hack the Air” is an audio PODCAST complementary to the radio broadcast prime-time morning radio show in current affairs that has been broadcast and produced by Irina Nedeva, a current affairs journalist with BNR. Beyond traditional radio narration “Hack the Air” will explore the boundaries on the topics of human rights and struggle against the nasty guys who try to destroy our democracy. Instead of being in conformity to the rhythm of televised reality this Podcast will exploit the different layers of the stories of migrants, minority workers, poets and activists who believe that the society could be better organized. We will follow political idealists, artists and people from marginalized communities who suffer from repression, depression or invisibility. The Podcast will try to find different forms and expressions of the unspeakable, the gestures, emotions and the discrepancy between what could be said ON AIR/ON RECORD and what rests OFF THE RECORD.
