The first module of BDC Discoveries 2025 has successfully concluded!

We are excited to share that the initial stage of this year’s program took place during the Beldocs Festival in the inspiring setting of The Yugoslav Film Archive, Belgrade.

Over several dynamic days, the seven selected projects took part in a series of insightful workshops led by mentors Martichka Bozhilova, Boris Mitić, Ieva Ubele, Rada Šešić, Goran Dević, Weronika Lewandowska, Mladen Kovačević, and Nadja Tennstedt.

A big congratulations goes to the team behind “The 13th Fish” – Sara Stijović and Anja Kečalović, produced by Tiny Sofa (Montenegro) and co-produced by Jon Gojani and Kot Productions (Kosovo). The project was awarded the DOK Leipzig Award, which grants participation in the co-production market of the documentary film festival DOK Leipzig.

We look forward to seeing everyone again in our next module this September in Sofia, during the Sofia DocuMental festival.
